Yet another successful Art Exhibition took place this week! The work of our dedicated GCSE and GCE A Level students attracted many positive comments from various visitors, including Art students, family members, teachers and people from the local community.
The selected works were full of colour, depicting a broad range of media including wire sculpture, printmaking, ceramics, textiles and collage. Many students chose to explore the human figure, while others centred on local contemporary or historical investigations. Students’ books were also available for visitors to browse, and several visitors commented on the incredible amount of work that students had managed to do in a period of less than two years.
Thank you to our Head of Art, Ms Sheila Wright for organising the Art exhibition and we are very proud of our talented Secondary School Art students!
